There are many states including equilibrium and metastable states which are fromed from non-equilibrium (high-energy states, excited states).~
Various materials can be obtained by the microstructure control based on "Phase Stability Control".~
The important targets are summarized by the following two points;~
(1) How to achieve the non-equilibrium state?~
(2) How to control to change from non-equilibrium to equilibrium/metastable states?~
To achieve the development of new materials based on "Phase Stability Control", the followings three techniques are investigated;~
(1) Alloy design: Thermodynamic calculation, ab-initio calculation, Data base science.~
(2) Microstructure analysis: Electron microscopy, In-situ observation, trans-scale observation~
(3) Microstructure control: Solidification and casting, Electron Irradiation~
